A lot of it comes from preparation. Preparing for the beginning, preparing for the end, the aftermath and naturally all the bits in between… This page is for any advice we are technically not at all qualified to be giving, but hey, our experiences may just help someone else out.

It all begins with an idea… Maybe it feels like you’ll never manage it, and while you’re thinking that, it will probably remain true; a classic self-fulfilling prophecy. The fact is, the bigger and crazier the idea, the longer it will probably take to make it happen- which is why believing in it from the outset and making life choices towards its happening are super important!

Particularly on a long trip, money can become a very real issue very quickly. You don’t want to ask anyone for help, you want to be involved in every activity, but if you’re out of money without a work Visa you’re completely stuck.
